Small, light items like chairs and side tables are helpful to move if you can, but we can work around most furniture and will move lighter pieces ourselves during the job. For heavier items like beds, wardrobes or bookcases, it's best to have those cleared beforehand if you'd like the carpet underneath cleaned as well.
Carpets are usually dry enough for light foot traffic within a few hours, and fully dry within 6 to 12 hours depending on humidity, airflow and fibre type. We recommend keeping pets and kids off freshly cleaned carpet where possible until it's dry, and opening windows or running fans speeds things up considerably.
Fresh stains respond very well to treatment, but older stains that have already set into the fibre or been treated with the wrong product previously can be harder to fully remove.
